It’s that time of year again for the annual OAC Grad Curling Funspiel. Curling is a great way to have some fun and interact with fellow grad students with brooms on ice. No experience or equipment is required. A lasagna dinner will be provided at the beginning of the night. Each team will play two different times and there will be a refreshment break in between games. All for $25!!

and hand in your money to your respective department reps. If you cannot gather enough people for a whole team contact your department rep and they will try to help you out. Space is limited so register as soon as you have a team. Deadline to register and submit money is Monday January 23rd.
When: Registration begins at 5:00, Dinner will be at 5:30 Curling will be at 6:30 -11:00 January 28th
Where: Guelph Curling Club, 816 Woolwich St. North of Walmart on Hwy 6 going out of Guelph
Who: Teams of 4 OAC Grad students are welcome from the departments of APS, SES, Plant Agriculture, FARE, Food Science and Landscape Architecture. Teams can be interdepartmental.

Looking for a way to relax on the last day of classes? Come out to the OAC GSC Holiday Movie Night! We will have 3 or 4 holiday movies to choose from (voting which movie to watch will happen that night). There will be free pizza and pop before the movie starts.
In keeping with the holiday spirit, we ask that you bring a non-perishable food item to donate to the university food bank.
So here are the details:
When: Thurs., Dec. 1
Time: 6:30pm (pizza), 7:00pm (movie starts)

Its summer and time again for the annual OAC grads picnic! This year, the festivities will be held on Friday July 8th from 4-8pm. Please join us at the Boathouse on Gordon Street for fun, food and fellowship.
The picnic will be potluck style. We ask that you bring something to share that is easy to serve and not dessert. The grad council will provide cutlery, plates, napkins and beverages (water, pop etc.). We also have arranged for a free ice-cream cone for each person in attendance.
We have rented 8 canoes for groups to take tours of the Speed River. Games like bocce-ball and Frisbee will also be available for those who wish to participate.
This is a FREE family friendly event so feel free to bring your spouses and children!
